Before that: eight years in the Army, including a combat deployment, then years leading soldiers stateside. Pressure was the job description, not a metaphor. I also picked up Jiu Jitsu somewhere in there — I'm a 4-stripe brown belt now, which mostly means I've been humbled a very specific number of times and kept coming back anyway. Somewhere along the way I also got certified in breathwork, because half the men I talked to weren't dysregulated by their circumstances — they were dysregulated, period, and no amount of "direction" fixes a nervous system that's stuck in overdrive.

Put together, that's Anchored Ascent: a real evaluation, a targeted plan, and the tools to actually execute it — whether what you need is direction, a career move, better relationships, sharper focus, composure under pressure, or just the ability to come back down from a spike before it runs your day.

I'm not here to tell you that you're lost. Some of you aren't. I'm here to find out, accurately, what actually needs work — and help you build it.

If you're wondering what that looks like in practice — mostly I ask questions. Good ones, without an agenda. People usually already know what's wrong. They've just never had someone sit across from them and ask the right thing. Once it's clear, we build the plan, and I keep you honest about it.
